ADVENT IN THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW

Advent is a Latin word meaning arrival, or appearance. Advent is the season in the church’s life when we celebrate the arrival of Jesus into our world as a man to save us. This year, we will be celebrating Advent by looking at the story of Jesus’ incarnation in Matthew 1-2.
