VERITAS YOUTH

Veritas Youth exists as a safe place to engage with families of 6th-12 graders to make disciples that are known, loved, and cared for while being equipped to love God, love people, and advance the gospel. We do this by meeting weekly to engage in worship, read the Bible, play games, and pray for one another and the nations in larger and small groups (grade and gender-specific).

Veritas Youth meets Sunday afternoons, 4:00 – 6:00pm in the youth room at 584 S Reilly Rd. We care a lot about making disciples and we believe that takes place in and through community, abiding dependance on The Holy Spirit, and learning to obey God’s Word together. We spend time as a whole group hanging out and worshipping together before breaking into small groups to discuss the Bible passage for that week and to pray for one another.

CURRICULUM

We care a lot about the Bible in Veritas Youth. We believe it is God’s divine and inspired word to us and that it’s all about Jesus. What’s normal for us is to spend time each week teaching through and studying books of the Bible together. We believe that committing ourselves to the story of the Bible will lead us to see, know and love the Triune God of the Bible. We utilize resources such as the Bible Project to help us in reading and understanding the Bible.
