GENESIS

The word Genesis means birth, origin, or beginning. The book of Genesis is the story of the beginning of everything except God! Genesis shows us who God is, why we exist, where we’re going, and what our lives are all about. Genesis is about the beginnings of the gospel, the good news of how God is going to save us through Jesus! It’s all about a good God who creates a good world and is going to keep his promises to redeem that good world after we bring sin and death into it. It’s all about how God keeps his promises and is always faithful, so we can trust his promises, walk by faith, live in his grace, and rest in hope.
