GOOD NEWS + GREAT JOY

Advent is a yearly season in the church’s life. The word advent is a Latin word for appearing, arrival, or coming. It is a season to celebrate the first coming of Jesus and to prepare our hearts for his second. It is a special season to reflect on the significance of Jesus taking on our humanity to rescue us. This year, we will be walking through the birth narratives in the gospel of Luke so that we might focus our attention on Jesus this Christmas season.
