The Defender Foundation is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit Christian organization working within the realm of anti-human trafficking. We provide such services as Public Awareness, In-depth Training, Prevention, Victim Services (including rescue, shelter and rehabilitation), as well as assistance with Prosecution of the criminals who are profiteering from the criminal trafficking of human-beings. We distinguish ourselves by having trained retrieval teams (Shield Teams) who work diligently to get victims out of captivity.
Our Mission: To fight and end human trafficking in North Carolina, and support trafficking victims by:
- Preventing future victims through education.
- Projecting awareness through our communities.
- Protecting victims through retrieval.
- Providing resources to victims for full recovery.
- Prosecuting human traffickers.
Our Vision: To mobilize, equip, and empower the body of Christ, by God's grace, to set the captives free from physical and spiritual bondage.
Come join us this Sunday July 20 12:30-2:30 at Veritas Church for a meeting dedicated to learning more about how you can stand against trafficking. Lunch will be provided.
See you there!
