If you've been around Veritas for any length of time you heard us talk about Jesus.... a lot. Before Jesus ascended to the right hand of the father he said we need the Spirit. In fact Jesus talked about the Spirit a lot. In this series on the Holy Spirit we are hoping to repair our broken understanding of the Spirit, deal with polarizations and confusion surrounding this often overlooked person of the Godhead. We may not know everything but we do know that Jesus said that it was better that he go so that the Holy Spirit would come. We know that we were not meant to operate without the empowering work of the Spirit. Finally we want to be people of God's word empowered by his Spirit. Getting to know/rely on/worship/thank God the Spirit should be our great joy until the day Jesus returns.
